This consultation is an essential opportunity for the surgeon to review your pathology.

During this consultation, the surgeon will question you about the circumstances of the onset and the characteristics of your discomfort. The clinical examination with help determine the diagnosis and complementary examinations, especially imaging, may be necessary and will be prescribed during the consultation if they have not already been carried out.

Following the complete assessment, a diagnosis is established and the various therapeutic options are presented that take into account your medical and surgical history, your expectations, as well as your professional duties and the environment in which you live and work.

When surgery is necessary, the surgeon will tell you all about the procedure, the post-op follow-up, and the risks, and will give you an explanatory note about the operation.
